It includes a low power 5v DC IR laser emitter with mirror and reciever and a standard 5V DC IR emitter and reciever beam break pair. Typical distance for laser is 6 to 12 feet. Trigger goes to ground. works with all controller devices like our crossing gate controller SKU57660001 or sound cards SKU33240002 or Arduino and Adafruit.
