Feature Suggestion Program — Terms and Conditions

Eligibility. Feature suggestions may be submitted by individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age. To avoid actual or potential conflicts of interest, manufacturers of model train gate controllers, and their officers, directors, employees, agents, and subcontractors, are not eligible to participate in this Feature Suggestion Program.

How to Submit a Feature Suggestion. Eligible individuals may submit a suggestion for a feature that is available on another model train intersection controller card but is not currently a feature of a KandR Electronics controller.

Each submission must identify the feature being suggested and provide sufficient information for KandR Electronics to identify and evaluate the feature, including, to the extent applicable:

  • The submitter’s full name;
  • Telephone number;
  • Mailing address;
  • Email address;
  • Manufacturer of the model train intersection controller card on which the feature is available; and
  • Model number of the controller card on which the feature is available.

A submission may be made by either:

Mail:
KandR Electronics
28533 Greenfield Rd.
Southfield, MI 48076

or

Email:
ken@knr.net

The submission must be received by KandR Electronics no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on December 10, 2026.

One Submission Per Feature. Each eligible individual may submit a particular feature only once. Duplicate submissions of the same feature by the same individual may be disregarded. Submitting multiple different feature suggestions is permitted, provided that each feature is submitted separately and otherwise complies with these Terms and Conditions.

First-Received Basis. If the same feature is independently submitted by more than one eligible individual, KandR Electronics may consider the first complete and eligible submission received by KandR Electronics for that feature before considering later submissions of the same feature. For mailed submissions, the date and time of actual receipt by KandR Electronics will control. For emailed submissions, the date and time the email is received by KandR Electronics’ email system will control.

No Guarantee of Adoption. Submission of a feature suggestion does not guarantee that KandR Electronics will add, develop, manufacture, or implement the suggested feature. KandR Electronics may evaluate, modify, combine, reject, or otherwise decline to implement any suggested feature for business, technical, legal, compatibility, safety, development, or other reasons.

Disqualification and Rejection. KandR Electronics may reject or disregard a submission that is incomplete, illegible, submitted after the deadline, contains materially inaccurate information, is a duplicate submission prohibited under these Terms and Conditions, or is submitted by an individual who is not eligible to participate. KandR Electronics may also reject a submission when reasonably necessary to protect the integrity of the Feature Suggestion Program or to comply with applicable law.

Changes or Termination. KandR Electronics reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this Feature Suggestion Program or these Terms and Conditions when reasonably necessary, including for technical, business, legal, or other legitimate reasons.

No Confidentiality. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by KandR Electronics, feature suggestions submitted through this program should not be considered confidential or proprietary. Participants should not submit trade secrets, confidential information, personal information belonging to another person, or other information they do not have the right to disclose.

Privacy. Personal information submitted through the Feature Suggestion Program may be used by KandR Electronics for purposes reasonably related to administering and evaluating the program and communicating with the submitter regarding the submission. KandR Electronics should handle such information in accordance with its applicable privacy practices and applicable law.
