IR Sensor Enclosed Pair Long Leads. IR beam break sensors are a simple way to detect object present. They consist of an emitter of IR light and a receiver sensitive to that light. When an object passes between the two diodes a signal digital value 0 is sent down the yellow or white third wire. The third wire con be connected directly to any of our controllers or sound cards. Black is ground and red is +5V DC. This product is compatible with any Adifruit or Arduino lines of products.

The third wire can be connected directly to any of our controllers or sound cards or used with any logic circuit like Arduinos or Adafruit. Black is ground and red is +5V DC. Leads are 12″.
