Description
Turn plastic frogs into conducting frogs without removing the entire switch from your layout. When using DCC you enter a switch yard slow enough where the wheels on you locomotive do not make good contact with the rails at the plastic frog. Typical of Atlas, Tyco, and some isolated Peco switches. This kit changes that by making the surface of the plastic frog conductive. This can be used in track crossings too. Check the “video” tab above to see instructional video on how this is done. There is enough foil to give you a few frog covers…and it makes them more realistic because they are metal just like the real ones. You will need to wire the foil to a polarity switch on the switch machine or have a frog juicer.
